JK Travel
A connected travel platform that carries each booking from the public website into availability, reservation, invoice, payment and mobile oversight workflows.
The operational challenge
A new website would not solve the handoffs behind every booking.
JK Travel did not need a brochure site sitting beside the business. The public experience had to connect directly to the work behind every booking: availability, customer follow-up, reservations, invoices, payments and management visibility.
Leadership and scope: Mihail owned the product direction and architecture, coordinated the disciplines involved and led delivery across the public website, internal platform and mobile tools.
The delivered system
One flow from first visit to reservation, payment and oversight.
- Made trips, dates, prices and availability usable by both the public website and the internal team.
- Brought booking requests, reservations, invoices and payment status into one operational flow.
- Added mobile views for checking availability, new activity and financial status away from the office.
Why the scope mattered
The booking did not become useful when the customer submitted a request.
The useful work continued through availability, customer follow-up, reservation detail, invoicing, payment status and management oversight. Treating those as separate systems would have recreated the same handoffs that the new platform was intended to remove.
The work therefore focused on the shared record and the views each person needed from it. The public website could collect useful context; the team could carry that context into the operational process; leadership could see the status without reconstructing it from separate tools.
A controlled change
Useful improvements can arrive without forcing a full replacement at once.
Existing systems that were still useful did not need to disappear merely to make the architecture look simpler. The product direction was to connect the information that had to stay consistent, then deliver practical views for the public website, internal work and mobile oversight.
This is the principle behind a phased operational platform: change the point of greatest friction first, learn from ordinary use and preserve the parts of the business that already work.
What changed operationally
from booking request to reservation, invoice and payment
across the website, internal platform and mobile tools
Monthly visitor volume is approximate. Customer records and commercial figures remain private.
Client perspective
“The platform has brought our website, availability, reservations, invoices and payments into one connected workflow. Our team works from the same information, and I can see what is happening from the office or my phone.”
What can be verified
Evidence without exposing private operational data.
The connected workflow is used across the public website, operational platform and mobile views. The public website serves approximately 150,000 monthly visitors. Customer records, supplier arrangements and commercial figures remain confidential, so this case study describes the system and operational outcome without presenting private data as marketing proof.
For a similar engagement, the useful evidence is the workflow itself: where information starts, who needs it next, what can go wrong and which status must remain visible.
